The Dubna Gas-Filled Recoil Separator, operating at the U400 cyclotron at the Flerov Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions, is one of the simplest but most efficient separator system in use to separate heavy products of the complete fusion nuclear reactions. The system of the compound nuclei α-decays sequences and spontaneous fission events detection is described [1]. The organization of the amplifying and detection system is discussed. Represented system was successfully applied in our recent experiments aimed to synthesize superheavy elements and to reach an "island of stability" nearly the predicted spherical shell with Z≥114 and N=178-184 [2].
