Research, development, manufacturing of prototypes and working models of gas position-sensitive and wide-aperture scintillation neutron detectors.
   Development of new sample environment systems and executing mechanisms, and modernization of the existing ones.
   Development and creation of new generation of data acquisition and experiment automation systems for the IBR-2 spectrometer complex.
    Development of the FLNP computing infrastructure.
