Nuclear Theory

• Investigation of a nature and structure of numerous low-lying 0 ⁺ excited states in several deformed nuclei from the rare earth region within the quasiparticle-phonon model;
  
  Study of pairing effects in a mixed boson-fermion media with an attractive interaction between boson-fermion pairs;
  
  Investigation of correspondence between two powerful methods in a theory of nuclear structure - the method of Wigner function moments and the random phase approximation;
  
  Determination of conditions imposed on the fusion by the "memory effects" in the collective energy dissipation and by the inertia properties of nuclei with respect to the changes of their shape;
  
  Study of anharmonic O(N+1) oscillator model as a quantum-mechanical analogue of the quantum-field sigma model with a symmetry conserving 1/N expansion and an extended Holstein-Primakoff mapping.
  
  
• Investigation of correlations between energy spectra and E2 transition probabilities inside the ground state band of deformed and transitional nuclei within geometrical and algebraic models;
  
  Investigation of properties of the ground state bands in nuclei with Z100 within a cluster approach;
  
  Study of some characteristics of the multimodal fission of heavy nuclei;

  Study of the scattering and recombination processes in ultra-cold molecular systems, including an analysis of the anisotropy effects in ultracold collisions of Rydberg atoms;
  
  Investigation of a structure of scattering wave functions for a three-particle system with Coulomb interactions within the Coulomb-Fourier transform approach;
  
  Induced pion reactions on nucleons and light nuclei: Analysis of pion photo- and electroproduction within the MAID and Dubna-Mainz-Taipei (DMT) models;
  
  Obtaining new sharp norm estimates in the spectral subspace perturbation problem;
  
  Development of new improved numerical algorithms for solving the Faddeev differential equations.
  
  
• Investigation of excitation functions of various observables of heavy-ion collisions in the 10-200 A·GeV energy range within the 3-fluid hydrodynamical model with the aim to find evidences of the expected quark-hadron phase transition;
  
  Elaboration of theoretical models to analyze a production of the exotic pentaquark gifeta ⁺-baryons as a tool for determination their spin and parity;
  
  Analysis of the parity non-conservation in nuclear reactions with the circular-polarized photons to determine weak meson- nucleon coupling constants.
  
  Investigations of the inhomogeneous and homogeneous Bethe-Salpeter equations for nucleon-nucleon T-matrix with different realistic interaction kernels, comparison with calculations within light cone formalism;
  
  Developing microscopic models for calculations of nucleus-nucleus optical potentials with further applications to collisions of exotic nuclei;
  
  Investigation of a variety of angular and energy correlations of fragments in the breakup reactions of halo nuclei.
