Scientific Programme:
IREN Development of the project IREN (Intense Resonance Neutron Source) - a new basic facility in JINR.

Expected main results in 2006:

Continuation of realization of the project IREN.

Correction of technological project of the IREN complex.
The linac LUE-200 - Electron source - assembly in bldg.43. Magnetic focusing system - completion of manufacture of magnets and electric power sources, assembling in bldg.43,carrying out of magnetic measurements at the regular place. Source of the ultra-high frequency power (modulator + klystron 5045)- mounting in bldg.43 at the regular place and switching on for RF-load. Accelerating section and vacuum system – assembling on the accelerator and pumping out. System of diagnostics, control and safety - completion of the technical project, collection of the equipment and mounting of the LUE-200 control panel. Technical systems – working out of the project and collection, switching on of temporary process flowsheets. General test of electrophysical systems of the first stage of the accelerator via temporary process flowsheets.
