International Linear Collider:
Accelerator Physics and Engineering

• Conceptual project of the ILC injection complex with an electron source on the base of photocathode and control laser system.
  
  
• Preliminary projects and specifications for the LINAC-800 based test-bench for testing the accelerating units and for beam diagnostic tools. Pre-design and requirements specification for the Free Electron Laser (FEL) based on photo-injector and LINAC-800. Pre-design of complex to study radiation stability.
  
  
• Conceptual development of high-precision metrological laser complex with extensive coordinate axis up to 20 km.
  
  
• Participation in development and design of cryogenic modules for accelerating systems of the linear accelerator.
  
  
• Calculation of electrical and magnetic fields of complex and super-complex configurations in the accelerating elements and systems of transportation and e ^-/e ⁺ beam formation.
  
  
• Reasonable proposals of the ILC location in the area of Dubna.
  
  
• Development of the cooling methods for charged particle beams. Elaboration of the optic profilometer prototype for the proton beam of Nuclotron (JINR) and COSY (FZJ).
  
  
• Creation of LEPTA: research of dynamics of the circulating electron beam, commissioning of the positron injector, setting of experiments with electron cooling of positrons, generation of positronium and experi-ments with it.

• Experiments to obtain and study the concordant with CLIC parameters of pulse heating of the test cavity (under the action of 106 pulses) on the test bench at LHEP. Theoretical investigation of updated modifications of FEM oscillator with Bragg resonator in order to enhance the efficiency. Sample exposure of semiconductor and ferroelectric materials with pulsed beams of electrons and RF radiation. Study of sample characteristics under different conditions of irradiation.
  
  
• The FLASH infrared undulator constructed at JINR will be commissioned at DESY. Magnetic measurements and experimental investigations on infrared beam generation and measurements of the electron bunch shapes will be performed at the FLASH.
  
  
• Investigation on intense electron beams and FEL physics: experimental work with coherent synchrotron radiation, construction of unit of beam diagnostics of X-ray radiation from FLASH. Conceptual design of two-color laser and construction of its units.
  
  
• Development of diagnostics of cryogenic systems and semiconductor cryodetectors.
