Scientific Programme:

Long base line neutrino oscillation search and study of neutrino oscillation parameters with the OPERA detector in the CNGS beam (CERN-Gran Sasso)--project OPERA
Search for solar neutrino vacuum oscillations. Direct solar neutrino flux measurements, precise Âå ⁷ neutrino flux measurements with BOREXINO detector.
Measurement of ₁₃ neutrino mixing angle in the Daya Bay experiment.
Analysis of the data of previous neutrino experiments for secondary hadrons emission study in p and interactions with nuclear targets for improvement of calculation of neutrino flux in current experiments.

Expected main results in 2009:

Data taking with neutrinos from CNGS beam at OPERA detector.
Startup of scanning and analysis of OPERA nuclear emulsion at JINR.
Software development for the Target Tracker data analysis. Development of the Brick Finding software.
Data taking with the BOREXINO detector.
Study of the feasibility of the calibration with internal light sources for the BOREXINO Fiducial Volume definition (down to 1-2%).
Measurement of the Âå ⁷ flux with 2 years statistics. Improvements in systematics
Development of the algorithm of Ñ ¹¹ tagging in view of CNO-cycle neutrino measurement.
pp -neutrino flux measurement with BOREXINO.
Participation in tests and assembly of Daya Bay central detector.
Tests of elements of muon detection system of Daya Bay.
Development of Monte Carlo software for cosmogenic background simulation in Daya Bay experiment.
