Nature of physical problem:
Coulomb radial functions are required in problems involving interactions between two charged particles. They depend on the scaled variables: angular momentum l; energy epsilon; radial co-ordinate r. For sufficiently small values of r they can be calculated using power-series expansions.

Method of solution:
The power series can involve excessive cancellation if r is not sufficiently small. The code gives an indication of the number of decimal figures which are lost due to cancellation effects [1].

Typical running time:
0.06s

Unusual features:
A long word-length is recommended, 64 or 128 bits.
