PROGRAM SUMMARY
Title of program: RNMULT128
Catalogue identifier: ADLK
Ref. in CPC: 125(2000)239
Distribution format: gzip file
Number of lines in distributed program, including test data, etc: 2159
Keywords: General purpose, Statistical physics, Monte Carlo, Random numbers, Random number generators, Pseudorandom, Congruential, Multipliers.
Programming language used: Data File

Nature of physical problem:
Any Monte Carlo calculation in physics or other subjects, particularly those involving massively parallel processing.

Method of solution
More than 2000 congruential sequences, each with a different multiplier may be used, either singly, or (preferentially) in a circulating manner. In the latter case, the familiar Marsaglia hyperplane pattern is disrupted, and a more chaotic distribution ensues.
