2. Installation

2.1 Requirements

WASP provides an user-friendly Graphical User Interface (GUI). Both visualization and GUI are implemented based on some of the ROOT classes. So, WASP requires ROOT [12] to be installed first. However, WASP classes, that are not related to visualization or GUI, are ROOT-independent.

2.2 Compilation and installation

In order to compile and install WASP on your system, type the following in the base directory of the WASP distribution:

% ./configure
% make
% make install

Since WASP uses

autoconf
you should have not trouble compiling it. Should you run into problems please report them to the the author at Alexei Soloviev
