Relative Measurements of Cross Sections for the Photofission on the Bremsstrahlung Spectrum

Soldatov A.S.

The review is devoted to the investigation of the probabilities of nuclei by measuring the photofission yields with bremsstrahlung of the microtron by means of the relative method in the region of energy from fission threshold to the end-point of the fission probability plateau (E < 11 MeV). The results for 20 nuclei have been obtained by the single methods. Very detailed measurements of the same nuclei have been performed in the near threshold energy region which allowed one to observe the new resonances of photofission cross section. The observed resonance effects have been discussed. The theoretical analysis for 234U and 238,240,242Pu has been carried out to obtain the fission barrier parameters for fission channels with the marked quantum states. The data of other authors' measurements has been observed together with the present data of relative measurements. The comparison of the present relative method data with the data of the actinides fission probabilities systematic has been done.
