Dear Colleagues,
We would like to invite you to take part in the 5th International Congress on Mathematical Modeling, which will be held at the Laboratory of Information Technologies of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, Dubna, Moscow Reg., Russia. The main coorganizer of Congress is the Council on Mathematical Modeling of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The goal of the Congress is to discuss modern problems of computer simulation so important in the 21st century. The Congress is one of the traditional conferences covering a wide range of mathematical modeling topics. The scientific program of the Congress includes the following topics: Mathematical models and software support in computational physics. Mathematical models of transfer and evolution in nonlinear and information-active systems. Mathematical modeling of processes in micro- and nanoelectronics. Mathematical models of computer optics. Mathematical modeling of composite materials properties. Mathematical simulation of processes in the mechanics of deformed matter. Mathematical simulation of turbulent processes. Mathematical modeling of processes in transitional and boundary layers. Mathematical models of nonlinear dynamics and synergetics. Mathematical and computer models of intellectual systems. Mathematical models in economics and sociology. Mathematical models of chemical and ecological systems. Mathematical modeling of bio- and macromolecular systems. We expect participation of scientists from Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, China, Finland, France, Great Britain, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Jordan, Japan, Latvia, Portugal, Syria, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Taiwan, the USA, Vietnam and other countries. 25 acting members and corresponding members of the Russian Academy of Sciences will take part in the Congress. The working language of the Congress is English. This information bulletin is sent one year before the Congress and intended to provide some general preliminary information. A second information bulletin of the Congress will be sent six months before the beginning of the Congress and will contain all useful information for participants and the Registration Form. About the Town Dubna is a quiet
and pleasant town 130 km north of Moscow on the picturesque banks of the
Volga river. The town and its neighborhood abound in trees and shrub,
whose foliage is spectacularly yellow and red this time of year. There is
railway and bus communication between Dubna and Moscow. About two hours
trip brings you to Moscow, Sergiev Posad (the
Russian Orthodoxy center with its 500-year-old Trinity Monastery), and old
Russian towns of Tver, Kashin, and Uglich. We kindly invite you to take part in Congress organization and we hope that your talk and contribution will be very interesting for all mathematical modeling community. Sincerely, Chairman of the Organizing Committee Prof. I.V.Puzynin, Laboratory of Information Technologies, JINR Co-chairmen of the Organizing Committee: Corresponding Member of RAS Prof. B.N.Chetverushkin, Institute for Mathematical Modeling, RAS (Russia) Dr. David Morgan, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (USA) Prof. Chin-Kun Hu, Institute of Physics, Academia Sinica (Taiwan) |
