2009

  • The State Corporation "Russian Corporation for Nanotechnologies" (RUSNANO) instituted International Prizes in the sphere of nanotechnologies RUSNANOPRIZE. It will be awarded from 2009 every year for scientific-technological inventions and their introduction in mass production.
       The Prize will be awarded in one of the four directions: nanoelectronics, nanomaterials, nanobiotechnologies and nanodiagnostics. The direction "Nanoelectronics" was selected in 2009.
       The Fund of the Prize is 3 000 000 roubles.

2008

  • The Russian Academy of Science announce the competition for V.I. Veksler Prize. The works should be resented befor 4.12.2008. (Information for candidates pdf (Russian text)).

  • October 1- 2, 2008. A meeting of the Buro of the Scientific Council of RAS on Charged Particle Accelerators took place in Zvenigorog. The question of organization of the XXII Russian Accelerator Conference (RUPAC'2010) was discussed.

  • September 28 - October 3, 2008. The XXI Russian Accelerator Conference (RUPAC-2008) took place in Zvenigorod. There were 146 participants from leading Institutes and Laboratiries of Russia and other countries at the Conference (Photo of the RuPAC-2008 participants). They presented 65 oral and 95 poster reports.
        The Prize of RuPAC for young scientists was instituted. It's first prizewinners are:
       Dmitry Berkaev (Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics SB RAS , Novosibirsk) for the work "Status and Progress VEPP-2000" (1st prize);
       Aleksey Markin (ИФВЭ, Protvino) for the work "Upgrade of Feedback Loops in Accelerating Cavities of U70" (2d prize).
       The next (XXII) Russian Accelerator Conference (RUPAC-2010) will take place on September - October 2010 in Protvino.
2007

  • September 4, 2007. A meeting of the Buro of the Scientific Council of RAS on Charged Particle Accelerators took place in Alushta. The question of organization of the XXI Russian Accelerator Conference (RUPAC'2008) was discussed (Russian text pdf).

  • May, 2007. The new Chairman of the JACoW Collaboration was elected. The Scientific Council of RAS on Charged Particle Accelerators expressed JACoW's support of the nomination of Volker Schaa, a representative of GSI. .

  • March 29, 2007. IHEP (Protvino) supports our request and sent an analogous letter to VAK Chairman, Akademician of RAS M.P. Kirpichnikov (Russian text pdf).

  • February 27, 2007. There was a letter to VAK Chairman, Akademician of RAS M.P. Kirpichnikov about including of the magazine "Nuclear instruments and Methods" to the List of foreign scientific magazines for publication of basic scientific results of PhD dissertations ( pdf ).
2006

  • December 26, 2006. A joint meeting of Nuclear Physics Division of Physical Sciences Department of Russian Academy of Sciences and Scientific Council of RAS on Charged Particle Accelerators took place in RAS. The questions of Russian participation in International Linear Collider (ILC) project were discussed (Russian text pdf).

  • May, 2006. Congratulation to new Corresponding member of RAS! On behalf of all members of Accelerator Council we congratulate newly elected Corresponding Member of RAS  S.V. Ivanov (IHEP, Protvino).

  • April, 2006. V.A. Teplyakov (IHEP, Protvino) is awarded by EPS - IGA Prize for the invention of RFQ in collaboration with I.M. Kapchinsky. We heartly congratulate Vladimir Alexandrovich with honorable awarding!!!
2004

  • March, 2004. I.N. Meshkov (JINR, Dubna) is awarded by EPS - IGA Prize for seminal contributions to numerous advances in accelerator science over the past 40 years. Our congratulations!!!
