JINR's Participation in the Physics Research Programme
at the Upgraded Fermilab Tevatron
(Projects D O , CDF)

Scientific Programme:

Development, production, testing and assembly of muon chambers with electronics (DO), detector assembly and commissioning, data collection and physics analysis.
Development, production and testing of the large scintillation counters for the central muon detector. Simulation, tests and assembly of the trigger system for intermediate vertex Si-detector, data processing, physics analysis (CDF).

Expected main results in 2001:

Commissioning of the chambers and the electronics of the D0 forward muon spectrometer; development of the D0 software; data taking and analysis.
Completion of installation and adjustment of the detector systems of the CDF spectrometer, manufactured in co-operation with JINR; participation in data taking and data analysis.
