Fields and Particles

Scientific Programme:

• Elaboration of the quantum inverse scattering method for 3-dimensional integrable models and for models with discrete symmetries (chiral Potts model, q-deformed Euler top).
  Investigation of noncommutative quantum field theories on the basis of noncommutative differential geometry. Working out covariant field theories for N=2 fermionic strings.
• Superfield description of superbranes in the approach of partial spontaneous breaking of supersymmetry, constructing novel superextensions of Born-Infeld theory within this approach, genearlization to the non-abelian case.
  Quantizing N=3 and N=4 supersymmetric gauge theories in harmonic N=3 superspace, computation of n-point superfield correlation functions, finding out the relationships with the related bulk supergravities based on AdS/CFT correspondence.
  Further analysing d=2 integarble syastems with exteneded N=2 and N=4 supersymmetries, construction and study of the associated supersymmetric matrix models.
  Extended supersymmetric quantum mechanics, its interrelations with exactly solvable and cosmological models, with the theory of higher spins.
• Development of the superfield approach to renormalizations in spontaneously broken SUSY theories. Construction of solutions to renormalization group equations for the complex soft charges. Analysis of _s corrections to supersymmetric contributions to rare hadron decays and prediction of the Higgs boson mass in the MSSM in view of recent experimental data.
• Study of the T-odd fragmentation functions of quarks and gluons and their application to the nucleon transversity and tensor charge measurements by COMPASS and HERMES collaborations. Study of the off-forward (skewed) parton distribution functions and their application to Deeply Virtual Photoproduction processes. Calculations of hadrons features and physical processes by QCD Sum Rule with nonlocal condensates. Study of spin asymmetries in diffractive production processes.
• Estimation of the role of ²-terms and power corrections in describing of observables in the invariant analytic approach in quantum chromodynamics. Description of structure function properties in inelastic lepton-hadron scattering based on the integral representation reflecting general principles of the local quantum field theory. Analysis of the inclusive -lepton decay data with mass effects and the relativistic resummation factor.
  Nonperturbative calculation of fermionic and bosonic correlators in lattice gauge theories and analysis of the role of the zero-momentum mode in a finite volume.
• Exact calculation of the Wigner function for superintegrable quantum systems defined in 3D spaces with constant curvature. Construction of subgroup-type coordinates in homogeneous spaces associated with noncompact group O(n,1) and their contraction into corresponding Euclidean spaces. Construction of coherent states for Non-Abelian Yang Monopole. Development of the local zeta function technique for calculating the effective action and the ground state energy of quantum fields at finite temperature with allowance for nontrivial boundary conditions and background gravity. The Hamiltonian description of the Universe in gravitation theory.
  Calculation of the hadron spectrum in the topological QCD.
• Study of mesons and baryons containing two heavy quarks within a relativistic constituent quark model. Calculation of radiative corrections for pion-nucleon scattering and estimation of their influence on the lifetime of a pion-nucleon atom. Justification for the procedure of averaging over the vacuum gluon configurations postulated in a model of induced nonlocal quark currents.
  Bound states in effective field theories. Study of systems with two heavy quarks.
• Description of ground and first radially excited nonets of scalar mesons and glueballs within the quark chiral model. Study of the meson wave functions on the light cone. Investigation of hadron interactions and decays of heavy quarkonia with taking account of the effects of mixing with hybrid quark-gluon states and studies of properties of exotic (di)baryons. Determination of contributions of higher twists from the experimental data on hadron structure functions. Investigation of the effects of axial anomaly in lepton-hadron and hadron-hadron processes. Study of effects in searching for a new physics in rare decays of mesons within the framework of the vacuum instanton model.
