Neutron Investigations of the Structure and Dynamics
of Condensed Matter

Leader:

V. Aksenov
A. Balagurov

Scientific Programme:

The main investigated problems and objectives of research are the application of neutron scattering for the investigation of the structure and dynamics of condensed matter, obtaining of new data on the microscopic properties of the investigated systems, experimental verification of theoretical predictions and models, revealing of new regularities. Other nuclear physics methods, such as synchronous radiation and muon scattering, will be also intensely used. The investigations will focus on-first priority research directions in condensed matter physics, chemistry, biology, earth science and engineering.

Expected main results in 2001:
