Development of the FLNR Cyclotron Complex
for Producing Intensive Beams of Accelerated Ions
of Stable and Radioactive Isotopes

Scientific Programme:
The problem under study is further development of the FLNR cyclotron complex -- U400M+DECRIS-14 and U400+ECR4M for producing intensive beams of accelerated ions with energies from 3 up to 100 MeV/n, which provide the performance of a wide range of scientific and applied researches. Improvement of the quality of ion beams extracted from the cyclotrons U200, U400 and U400M.

Expected main results in 2002:

Production of light ion beams of Li, B, C with intensity up to 35·10 ¹³ 1/s.
Production of Kr and Xe ion beams with energy up to 5-6 MeV/A at the U400.
