        The III International Pontecorvo Neutrino Physics School organized by the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (Dubna) will be held in the resort house "Dubna", Alushta, Crimea, Ukraine from 16 to 26 September 2007. The program of the school includes lectures and discussion sessions on basic topics of modern neutrino physics:
  • Phenomenology of neutrino mixing and oscillations
  • Neutrino oscillation results and prospects
  • Neutrinoless double beta decay
  • Theory of neutrino mass and mixing
  • Direct determination of neutrino masses

        The school will bring together about 50 students and lecturers working in the field. To apply to the school you need to fill in Registration Form. Early application will increase the chance to be accepted!

        Participants will be accommodated in a resort house "Dubna". The price for accommodation includes also full pension (meals three times a day). The price will be about:
30 USD/per participant/per day - with accommodation in a double room
50 USD/per participant/per day - with accommodation in a single room

        The same prices are for accompanying persons.

        Registration fee of 150 USD will include local transportation, social events (excursions, school dinner) and other local expenses of the school.

        Ukrainian local currency is "hryvnia", exchange of major currencies in Alushta is simple.

        Participants are expected to arrive on 16 September (afternoon) and leave on 26 September (morning). Transportation to the major connection point in Crimea - Simferopol (airport and train station) will be provided on the arrival and departure dates.
