Scientific activity, mutual interest
On 25-30 August, "International School of Accelerator Physics: Cyclotrons", organized by the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research and the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI, was held in the Verbilki workers' settlement of the Moscow Region. This unique scientific event brought together more than 80 participants, including students, postgraduates and young scientists from various scientific institutions and universities.

Research by DLNP scientists presented at a prestigious conference
On 19-22 August, a leading topical conference on biological research in DULIA-BIO 3 Deep Underground Scientific Laboratories was held in York, UK.

JINR organized four workshops of 2024 Summer School
From 5 July to 5 August 2024, the 21st Summer School, one of the largest public educational projects in Russia, took place in the Volga Tourist Resort of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research. JINR employees participated in organizing four of the school’s more than 30 workshops: the Element 105 Physics Workshop, the Science Art Workshop, which combined art and science, and two workshops dedicated to organizing social and cultural events and projects: PROteens and (NON)library.

Entry point to IT professions
The Yandex Academy Lyceum platform opened in the summer of 2019 on the basis of Lyceum No.6 named after Academician G.N.Flerov with the strong support of JINR. The training programme was developed by the autonomous non-profit organization of additional professional education "School of data analysis" (Yandex group of companies), is designed for two academic years and is aimed at students in grades 8-10 that want to master advanced programming and development skills. Training is free for students. Groups are recruited based on the results of an open competition in which all Dubna schoolchildren can take part.
