THE PROGRAM FOR THE NUMERICAL SOLUTION OF THE SYSTEM OF EQUATIONS FOR THE THERMAL SPIKE MODEL USING THE METHOD OF ALTERNATING DIRECTIONS The program is designed to study thermal processes in materials irradiated with heavy ions of high energies in the framework of thermal spike model [1]. Mathematical formulation and finite difference schemes for the numerical solution of equations of the thermal spike model are described in [2, 3]. Input parameters are: dimensionless parameters of systems of equations of thermal spike model, energy ion loss and mesh steps in the variables which are described in detail in [2, 3]. Sources, input data and detailed description (in Russian) are submitted. References: ------------ 1. Lifshitz I.M., Kaganov M.I., Tanatarov D.V. Atomic Energy, 1959, V.6, P.391-402. 2.
