The Specialized Fire and Rescue Unit No. 26 warns

The issue of fire safety in summer is quite serious and relevant for every person. In hot weather, the likelihood of fires in nature increases, imposing extra requirements on people for accuracy and carefulness to their actions. Banal negligence becomes the cause of colossal fires that occupy hectares of territory and lead to the death of all living beings.

Most people have vacations in summer, children have summer holidays, many go to the forest, to nature for vacations. It is the period, when it is especially necessary to observe fire safety measures.

The Specialized Fire and Rescue Department No. 26 recommends:

- do not light a fire in windy weather; near buildings, machinery, trees and flammable materials;

- do not trust minors to look after the fire.

The occurrence of fires in nature is provoked by many factors. Most often, these are unattended sources of fire: a burning cigarette butt, a match, an unburned fire - all this is a potential danger; carrying out work related to fire in conditions of stable dry weather, without following safety rules: using a grinder, welding machine, burner, etc.

The cause of fire is also the burning of garbage, the pranks of children with fire, the ignition of flammable objects and materials during improper storage and operation.

Protect yourself and nature from fire! Relax and remember to follow fire safety rules and common sense!
