The concert brought together
the guests and heroes of the anniversary

On 5 November, a creative evening of the Academic Choir "Belcanto" dedicated to the 50th anniversary of its establishment was held.

It was a holiday for everyone involved in development and establishment of choral creativity in Dubna. "Belcanto" is the oldest creative group established in the Cultural Centre "Mir", the "golden fund" of urban culture. Vast experience, talent and love for singing, inexhaustible energy helped to achieve significant results and high performing skills.

Guests and friends of the choir presented creative gifts - compositions of classical and modern authors, Russian folk songs were performed. Incredibly talented groups gathered to congratulate the heroes of the day: the youth and student choir, the children's choir "Snowdrop" (director Elena Khritankova, accompanist Ekaterina Brun), the chamber choir "Credo" (director Irina Kachkalova), the AltriMuse pianist quartet, the men's quartet "Cavaliers" (director Alexander Tchaikovsky), soloists Elena Chudina, Igor Yarovoy, Anna Kulakovskaya, Galina Grigorieva, Marina Sidorchuk, Metaksia Abrahamyan, Vladimir Sushkov, Tatyana Klinikova. Together with the brilliant performance of "Belcanto" and the magnificent host Diana Krumbmiller, the anniversary turned into a great celebration of choral and vocal music. On this day, like half a century ago, the stage of the Cultural Centre "Mir" united those whose hearts the art of beautiful singing makes beat faster.

The Academic Choir "Belcanto" was established in 1973 by Diana Minaeva. At first, the team was called the vocal ensemble "Melody". Today, "Belcanto" is a mixed choir with 30 participants. The repertoire includes compositions by Russian and foreign classics and modern composers, church music, folk and popular songs. Conductor and leader Elena Pavlovna Khritankova continues the traditions of Russian choral singing. Team classes are held twice a week. In a creative, friendly atmosphere, you can try your hand at choral singing and vocals, as well as go on creative trips to different cities and countries. The team collaborates with the youth and student choir and the Academic Choir of the Cultural Centre "October". The team conducts regular rehearsal and touring and concert activities, updating its repertoire.

• July 2020 - awarded a 1st degree diploma at the 1st All-Russian competition-festival of creativity and arts "Chime of talents"
• May 2021 - participation in the III Interregional open choir festival "Singing Moscow Region", Dubna
• May 2022 - participation in the premiere concert "Choral world" at the Cultural Centre "Mir"
• October 2022 - participation in the "Singing Moscow Region" festival in the Cultural Centre "October"
• October 2022 - participation in the anniversary concert of the children's choir "Snowdrop"
• October 2022 - participation in the musical play "Legends of the Dubenskaya Shipyard"
• November 2022 - awarded a Diploma of Winner at the III Open Festival-Show "Merry Tuning Fork" in Troitsk
• January 2023 - participation in the Christmas concert of the Cultural Centre "Mir"
• March 2023 - participation in the concert dedicated to the Foundation Day of JINR
• April 2023 - participation in the festive concert "Music of our hearts" at the Smolensk regional philharmonic
• May 2023 - participation in a concert dedicated to the "Day of Slavic literature and culture"
• October 2023 - participation in the anniversary concert of the Academic Folk Choir of the Cultural Centre "October"
• October 2023 - participation in the concert "Harry Potter. Symphonic soundtrack" on the stage of the Great Hall of the State Kremlin Palace (Moscow).

Today, the team lives an active creative life and delights audiences with its performances, takes part in city events and in projects of the Cultural Centre "Mir". This is a lively and mobile team capable of meeting the highest creative tasks.
