Our starts and victories

More than 65 sporting events a year are organized by the JINR Department of Social Infrastructure. We often publish results and achievements on the pages of the weekly. But this does not exhaust the physical activity of the Institute's employees. Competitions of various levels and mass participation, both in Russia and in other countries in many sports is the topic of this publication, prepared by the head of the mass sports sector Amira Travina. We congratulate the winners, are proud of the victories and support the participants!

Nikolay Sosunov

Nikolay Sosunov, DLNP
In January 2023, he took part in a race along the Velo1 route along the Moscow Canal and took the 2nd place in his age group. From mid-February to mid-April, on a business trip to Lake Baikal, he succeeded to get on his skis occasionally. In summer, he participated in the traditional bike trip to Medveditsa - 230 km in two days. He is a permanent member of the JINR team in the CPC championship.

Larisa Peshkova, VBLHEP
As a member of the JINR team, she participated in the CPC championship, the ski relay in memory of A.Ya.Bereznyak and other competitions among city organizations. In the individual competition, she took part in competitions in Kimry and took the 2nd place in the "Classical skiing" category. In the Dmitrovskaya ski track she took the 3rd place in her age category. She participated in the track and field sprint "Watermelon mile".

He participated in a large number of sporting events in the 2023 season: 2nd result in a 4 km swim on Lake Pleshcheyevo, a 80 km trail race in Suzdal, a 50 km mountain race in Gelendzhik with a total elevation gain of 2300 meters. Trail race beyond the Arctic Circle in Teriberka (50 km). Of course, the runin memory of V.I.Veksler - the 2nd place in the category "Best JINR Runner" for 8 km. Swimming competition in memory of G.I.Flerov.

She participated in the 10 km "Alexandrovskie versty" race. A regular participant in the 10 km Nikolov Perevoz race: last year, she took the 2nd place in her age group and the 3rd - in the overall standings. In the competition "Zaprudnenskaya ski track", she took the 3rd place. And also, she is a participant in city competitions.

Nadezhda Agapova, DLNP
He considers his most significant achievement last year the participation in the 25km Nikolov Perevoz race. She ran for the first time and became the first at her age. She also took part in the "Beautiful Meche Trail" competition (13 km) and the Pereslavl half-marathon "Alexandrovskie versty" (21 km).

Triathlon Ironman70.3 ASTANA - debut at the marathon distance, Moscow Half Marathon 2023, the 54th traditional athletics race dedicated to the memory of Academician V.I.Veksler, where she became the best runner of JINR for several years.

IronStar triathlon in Zavidovo, supermix distance: two races in one day, the 1st place in his age category. IronStar in Sochi - the 2nd place in his age category. Trail race Rosa run for 26 km - the 3rd place in his age category.

Participant in all races as part of the Institute team: the V.I.Veksler memorial race, the L.N.Yakutin race, the A.Ya.Bereznyak relay race, the "Watermelon mile", the opening of the ski season in Dubna and Dmitrov.

Vladimir Morozov, VBLHEP
Participation in the world-famous triathlon Ironman 70.3 ASTANA, Kazakhstan, as well as in the "Moscow Marathon", "Night Run", Ironstar competitions in Zavidovo.

Alexander Podshibyakin, DLNP
Constant participant in the CPC ski and track and field championships. In the races named after V.I.Veksler for several years, "Best JINR Runner" for 4 km.
