Exhibitions The world of enthusiastic peopleThe photo exhibition "About Dubna and not only..." will be open until 25 April in the JINR Scientists' Club. The authors of the exhibition are FLNP employees Sergey Negovelov and Andrey Kirilov.Works from different years are presented at the exhibition. These are landscapes, still liмes, architectural views. Among them - urban sketches of Dubna: dark silhouettes in the sunset rays, unexpected angles of familiar buildings, scenes from the life of citizens. Some photos beg for large "canvases" in a spacious exhibition hall. Others are chamber, very... Dubna, anyone that has visited our city will recognize them. Appetizing and fantastic still lives. Moody landscapes and surely, a lot of water - river ripples, the mirror of wet roads, storms on the dam... Subtly observed, skillfully filmed - and fleeting moments are fixed for endless admiration of highlights, shades, contours. The exhibition is open Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
(un)publishedFrom 30 April to 18 May, the exhibition hall of the JINR Cultural Centre "Mir" will host the exposition for the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.The exhibition "(not) published" offers to look at the past through fragile paper evidence, existing as artifacts of personal memory of citizens and the official history of the city. The exhibition includes letters from the war years, newspaper publications about the Great Patriotic War. Three letters of M.G.Meshcheryakov stand out in the exposition. A living testimony of time, inscribed in the history of the city and the country. The exhibition is organized jointly with the Historical Archive at the JINR Museum of History of Science and Technology and the JINR weekly "Dubna: Science, Commonwealth, Progress". Opening hours: Tuesday - Sunday: 1:00 PM -7:00 PM. Entrance is free
