For schoolchildren of the Moscow region

Students of 8-11 grades of the Moscow region can learn modern programming languages for free in two-year courses. Call for applications within the framework of the all-Russian Project "Code of the Future" has started on the Unified Portal of Public Services.

The course programme consists of four training modules of 36 academic hours each. It is designed for 2 years of study in online and offline formats. As a result, each participant will receive a certificate.

To participate in the programme, one needs to fill out an application on the Unified Portal of Public Services. The student himself, his parent or the legal representative can apply. The applicant should have a verified ESIA account. The next step is to complete an online entrance test. After successfully completing the tasks, it is necessary to conclude an agreement with the educational organization on behalf of the parent or the legal representative for training at the expense of the state.

The Project "Code of the Future" is organized by the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia under the auspices of the Federal Project "Development of the human resources potential of the IT industry" of the national programme "Digital Economy". The operator of the educational Project is University 2035.

From 26 September to 16 October, students of 1-11 grades of the Moscow region take part in "The lesson of numbers". The lesson is dedicated to artificial intelligence in startups.

"The new season of the Federal Project "The lesson of numbers" has started. Artificial intelligence is a field that widely develops today. For instance, in the Moscow region, a neural network helps to identify a problem from a photo, advises entrepreneurs or makes an appointment with a doctor. I think students will be interested in learning more about the possibilities of modern technologies," Nadezhda Kurtyanik, Minister of Public Administration, Information Technology and Communications of the Moscow Region, emphasized.

As part of the Project, students will learn about "technological startups" and learn in practice about the main stages of their development. Participants will be able to watch a video lecture, where information is presented in an accessible and interesting way for schoolchildren of any age. To consolidate knowledge in practice, the children will have the opportunity to go through a game simulator. A special mobile version for completing tasks at home has also been developed: one only needs a phone and access to the Internet.

The purpose of "The lesson of numbers" is to form the key competencies of the digital economy among schoolchildren, as well as to stimulate early career guidance for children in the field of information technology. The initiators of the event are the Ministry of Education of Russia, the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia and ANCO "Digital Economy".
