Traditional School on Lipnya Island

The 26thSummer School for Young Scientists and Specialists (Lipnya-2022) will be held from 15 to 17 July, 2022 at the JINR Tourist Base "Lipnya" on the Ivankovskoe reservoir.

This year the School is dedicated to the International Year of Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development and the Decade of Science and Technology in Russia. Within the frame of the School, JINR staff members will talk about the main tasks having been completed within the framework of fundamental research at the Institute's basic facilities. Two plenary reports will be presented by representatives of the JINR University Centre and the JINR Press Office. In addition, participants will take part in a traditional round table with the Institute's Directorate and the representatives of the City Administration, where School participants will be able to discuss current issues of the Institute's social infrastructure and the urban environment. Participants will also enjoy workshops, sports and board games, singing to guitar music and barbecue.
