Personal dimension In the service of science: management, law, logisticsDubna is my hometown, I was born, have studied, live and work here. At first sight, my educational path has little to do with science. I studied at the college of the Dubna University, majoring in Management, afterwards, I graduated from the Law Faculty of the Moscow Financial and Industrial University "Synergy", majoring in Jurisprudence. At first, I was happy with the invitation to work at JINR, because I had already worked in sales, but that was a commercial area and now, it was interesting to try myself in something new. I had to deal with specific scientific supplies, understand applications, supplier companies, materials and equipment. I started my career at the Institute in 2016 as a senior laboratory assistant in the Scientific and Experimental Department of Superconducting Magnets and Technologies. I was engaged in the procurement of products, materials and equipment for the production of serial superconducting magnets. In addition, my responsibilities included warehouse accounting. In 2021, I was transferred to the position of a specialist in material accounting and control. In 2019, I completed the advanced training course "Warehouse logistics" that allowed me to improve the procurement control structure. In 2022, I was engaged in the registration of a passport for each serial magnet. I currently work in the Scientific and Experimental Department of Radio and Electronic Systems as a paperwork specialist. My transition to this position occurred due to a change in the structure of our department. Thus, all my competencies obtained in educational institutions, as well as work experience in previous fields were united. Every day, I have to work with employees of all ranks - from the head of the department to the director of the laboratory, as well as with other departments: the pass office, the accounting department, the timekeeping service. I have to consult, recommend to employees the preparation of documents and I am very pleased to help colleagues in meeting current issues. I really like my work as a specialist. In addition, there is always an opportunity to learn and improve here. Over the years of work, I have realized how complex a process it is - the production of science-intensive products. It is much more difficult than the production of consumer goods, because you have to deal with an immeasurably larger number of requirements, parameters, sizes. And I am very happy when my activities contribute to improving quality, for responsibility and the conscientious attitude towards our duties by each of us ultimately create the image of our large international organization on the world stage. I am a member of the Council of the Association of Young Scientists and Specialists that definitely helps me to learn more about the scientific, organizational and administrative activities of the Institute and it, in turn, helps in my work. Participation in organizing cultural events, such as the Back to Office picnic, March 8 and New Year's Eve parties opened up opportunities for me to cooperate with different departments of the Institute and to coordinate their actions. For many years, insufficient information of employees about social support and various events has been named among the general Institute tasks. I am engaged in distributing announcements, posters, sending out and creating posts about competitions in laboratory social networks. In 2023, I was a member of the Organizing Committee for the Accelerator Physics School "APS 2023", held on Lipnya Island. It was also a good experience - from drawing up a schedule to providing participants with everything they needed. I still like working at JINR, I am not disappointed. In my opinion, there is a wide range of opportunities for young people and not only, mainly, of course, for scientific work, but specialists can also fully realize their calling and skills and also find something to do in sports sections, clubs of interest, participate in trips to theaters, excursions and so on, in this regard, the Institute provides many opportunities. In my free time from work, I like going to the theater. In winter, I go ice skating and skiing, in summer - cycling. Kseniya ILINA
