START-2024 Summer Session

The START (STudent Advanced Research Training) programme invites students and postgraduates to join the research conducted at JINR supervised by the leading scientists and engineers. Applications for the Summer Session 2024 are accepted at start.jinr.ru until 28 March 2024.

One of the features of the Programme is competitive selection of participants carried out by project supervisors based on the application forms submitted. The Programme is intended for students having finished the 3rd year of the Bachelor’s course, Master’s students, and PhD students of the 1st year of study. Selected participants will be able to come to JINR for 6-8 weeks from June until November 2024.

START allows young people not only to get acquainted with the scientific research conducted at JINR and try to solve up-to-date scientific and engineering tasks in an international team, but also to make up their mind about the topic of their future thesis and find a potential scientific supervisor. Successful participation in the Programme can become the starting point on their way to making a scientific career at JINR.

We invite JINR researchers to participate in START as student supervisors. To do this, please register at start.jinr.ru and post a description of your project in the corresponding section of your profile.
