JINR at the Forum
on the 65th anniversary of RUDN University

On 6 February 2025, Director of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Grigory Trubnikov will participate in the international scientific and practical conference entitled “The mission of the modern university in the challenges of transformation in a multipolar world”, which will take place at the Patrice Lumumba Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN) in Moscow.

The JINR Director’s talk will be part of the second thematic block of the plenary session “Modern models of education: revolution or evolution?”. Topic of the presentation: “The NICA Collider: a project of JINR, an international scientific centre”. Join the stream at 11:55 AM (Moscow time) not to miss the start of Grigory Trubnikov’s talk.

On 7 February, 16 scientific round tables will be held in the educational departments of the RUDN University, in which representatives of the Joint Institute will take part and make presentations:

  • Director of the JINR University Centre Dmitry Kamanin, “Personnel training for large-scale scientific projects: JINR’s experience”;
  • Deputy Head of the JINR International Cooperation Department Elena Badawy, “Integration forms of international scientific and technical cooperation (using the example of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research)”;
  • A leading researcher at the Laboratory of Information Technologies at JINR Saha Bijan, “The accelerated expansion of the universe and dark energy.”

The international scientific and practical conference titled “The mission of the modern university in the challenges of transformation in a multipolar world”, dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the founding of the RUDN University, will take place from 6 to 7 February. The event will bring together more than 120 experts from different countries, including not only scientists, but also ministers, rectors of leading universities, and heads of ranking agencies.
