Half a century with the radio club "Dubna"

It's good when a person is passionate about something interesting and necessary not only for him. But sometimes, hobby becomes the main thing of life. It happened to the citizen of Dubna Vyacheslav Semenov. On 11 February, he turned 85 years old.

And this date, of course, became an occasion to remind the citizens of Dubna and the neighborhoods of the radio club "Dubna" and its extensive work. Vyacheslav Semenov, according to radio amateurs, is the patron and keeper of the amateur radio traditions in the North Moscow Region, in Dmitrov, Dubna, Taldom, Yakhrome, as well as other cities and towns. He has been in charge of the radio club for half a century.

Today, more than one and a half hundred radio amateurs are assigned to the radio club "Dubna". Among them, there are also citizens of Moscow and Kimry. The sports results of all radio stations of the united radio club are always at the highest level, as evidenced by numerous awards.

Vyacheslav Semenov is a master of sports and honorary radio operator of the USSR. A real master! He has organized several radio expeditions to Mongolia and Vietnam.

The main business of his life is popularization of radio sports and training of young radio amateurs-schoolchildren in this technical sport.

We heartily congratulate our fellow countryman, a sports veteran Vyacheslav Semenov on his glorious anniversary and we wish his colleagues victories in life and sports!
