First jubilee

On 1 February, the fifth anniversary of the Engineering and Physics Institute of Dubna State University is celebrated. Candidate of physical and mathematical sciences Evgeny Davydov was appointed the first director of the Institute. Today, the Institute is headed by a university graduate, candidate of technical sciences Oksana Piskunova.

Specialized conferences on neutron research of condensed matter, fundamental physics and alternative energy are annually organized in the Institute. For three years, IPI has been the executor of the federal grant "New technologies for developing components and systems of experimental stations for sources of synchrotron radiation and neutrons" jointly with JINR.

The Engineering and Physics Institute is proud of its students that annually win competitions and Olympiads and also become winners of scholarships from the President and Government of the Russian Federation, personal scholarships and JINR awards.
 

Open Days of JINR Basic Departments

The event will be held on 21 February, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Applicants will be able to learn about the seven basic departments of one of the largest world-class scientific centres, as well as to see JINR from the inside.

To participate one needs:

• to be over 14 years old;
• to register before 12 February;
• to fill out consent to the processing of personal data, consent from parents to participate in an excursion to JINR and to be sure to take both documents to the event along with the passport.
