Student projects

On 5 May 2022, the Laboratory of Radiation Biology of JINR hosted an online biophysical seminar. Students, postgraduates and young specialists of the Department of Biophysics of Dubna State University presented their scientific projects at the seminar.

Presented scientific papers were conducted on the base of the Laboratory of Radiation Biology and the Laboratory of High Energy Physics in cooperation with the National Research Centre "Kurchatov Institute". Topics of reports covered a wide range of scientific areas: the study of induction and reparation of double-strand DNA breaks, study of morphofunctional changes in the central nervous system, mathematical modelling in various fields of radiation biology, research of the AraC drug effect on the body radiosensitivity,and much more.

Head of the Department of Biophysics, RAS Corresponding Member Professor Evgeny Krasavin headed the seminar and gathered more than 40 students and postgraduates of all years.

The results of scientific experiments presented at the seminar have confirmed the high preparation level of young scientists and verified the versatility and high quality of education obtained at the Department of Biophysics of Dubna State University.
