Dubna, JINR, spring!

14 physics teachers from the Kamchatka Territory have come to the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research for an internship organized by the JINR University Centre.

On 3 April, on the opening day, they visited the interactive exhibition "JINR Basic Facilities" in the Cultural Centre "Mir", where they learned about the structure of the Institute and the research carried out here. Afterwards, in the new building of the UC on Vavilova Street, they were told about the events and opportunities for teachers, students and schoolchildren at the University Centre.

A week stay in Dubna will be busy: school teachers are expected to do laboratory and research work, to have lectures, master classes and excursions in the Laboratories of the Institute and the Lyceum named after V.G.Kadyshevsky.

We hope that this practice will become a source of inspiration for them in their work, an occasion for new projects and visits and will take place in a warm atmosphere - both due to the goodwill of our employees and the weather conditions, because in Kamchatka the air temperature is just beginning to turn into plus.
