On 19 January, at 16.00, in the Great Hall of the Scientists' Club, a junior researcher of LRB Regina Kozhina is going to deliver a report on "DNA repair: All's well that ends well".

Every year, interest in the life sciences constantly increases. At the seminar, we will discuss why much attention is drawn to the impact of ionizing radiation on living organisms, about what happens to the DNA molecule, how a cell ensures the stability of its own genetic information, what repair is, how important it is at different levels of life organization and whether DNA damage can be useful for science.
