News of the JINR Cultural Centre "Mir" Create yourself and create the world around youA touch of the eraRecently, we have got an art object "Historical handle of the JINR Cultural Centre "Mir".The JINR Cultural Centre "Mir" was built in 1956. During this time, a huge number of performances, concerts, exhibitions, meetings, conferences and significant events have been held here. And every meeting for the audience has started with the handle on the front door. The historical handle contains the touches of the hands of many talented creative figures, scientists and famous personalities. With the creation of this art object, it is as if a door to the past has opened and an opportunity to touch the era has appeared. By holding a handle, you feel like you are saying hello to great musicians, painters, artists. And for those that have come to classes at the Cultural Centre "Mir" every day, this rarity will remind them of rehearsals, performances, creative successes, mentors and colleagues. Theater studio "Balaganchik"Acting, stage movement, stage speech, dance - these four disciplines are studied by young actors in the theater studio of the JINR Cultural Centre "Mir".Head of the studio Yuliana Kukarnikova notes: "An actor is a wonderful profession. It allows a person to remain a child. After all, it is children that know how to be surprised, admire and truthfully express their feelings. At the same time, it is work. Work on yourself, on your role. And also, the ability to create together. After all, theater is an ensemble art that means it teaches you to hear and understand those around you. There are a lot of interesting things in our lessons. Most often these are theatrical games that prepare the young actor to be real and interesting in performances." A lesson usually consists of two parts. The first is training. A few plastic exercises, exercises for relaxation, coordination, imagination, attention, breathing, tongue twisters. And the second is working on the role. The play "Russian Folk Tales" is currently rehearsed in the studio. Let's dance flamencoThe Al Andalus flamenco dance school, based in the JINR Cultural Centre "Mir", becomes increasingly popular among both participants and audience.Dancers led by Margarita Perez learn a new style - guajira (guajira means "peasant"). These are flamenco songs based on Cuban folklore. The verses are mainly dedicated to Havana and its inhabitants, the dominant topics are love and nostalgia. The main accessory for the guajira dance is a fan, called abanico in Spain. The fan is used as a prop and accessory to accentuate the dancer's movements and express emotions, it symbolizes femininity, sensuality and elegance in flamenco dance. The flamenco school's next performance was participation in the "Klever" festival for adults on 6 April at the Blokhintsev Universal Library. The purpose of the festival is to talk about the opportunities for development, creativity and communication in Dubna. At the same time, the school prepares to present three new productions at the Diferentes dance competition that will be held on 14 April in Moscow. We wish the team bright, memorable and inspiring performances! During a choir classThe Academic choir "Belcanto" prepares to perform at the Easter concert of sacred music. At the same time, preparations are underway for participation in the musical and poetic performance "Gypsies" based on the opera "Aleko" by S.V.Rachmaninov, dedicated to the anniversary of A.S.Pushkin. Both events will be held in May.As Director of the choir Elena Khritankova said, at the concert of sacred music, the choir will perform the chant "Angel Cries" by M.P.Mussorgsky and the Troparion of Easter together with the Academic choir conducted by Marina Tchaikovskaya. At the same time, the choirs will be located on different floors of the foyer of the Cultural Centre "Oktyabr" and listeners will experience an interesting acoustic effect. But the performance will be held on the big stage and currently, the choristers still discover the legacy of S.V.Rachmaninov.
