About the profession of a scientist

In Moscow, at the international exhibition and forum "Russia" at VDNKh, a festival of professions was held for a month. Each day was dedicated to one of the professional areas: IT sector, working specialties, agricultural professions, healthcare, social services, hospitality industry and others.

On 2-5 April, "Scientists of the future" was presented at the festival site, in which JINR employees took part. They told visitors about the unique scientific facilities of JINR, such as NICA, the Baikal-GVD neutrino telescope, the DC-280 cyclotron and demonstrated physical experiments. Lectures on the activities and research of the Institute were given by Alexander Karpov, Yury Severyukhin and Regina Kozhina.

The event was also attended by SibNIA named after S.A.Chaplygin, ISEA SB RAS, SB RAS, Siberian Chemical Plant, Network of children's technology parks "Quantorium", high-tech companies, including PSK "Pharma", "Promtekh-Dubna", SEZ TVT "DUBNA", as well as a number of research institutes, research and production enterprises, universities, colleges and technical schools.
