Exhibition in JINR S&T Library

Replenishment of the library collection

From 9 to 31 January 2025, the JINR Science and Technology Library invites visitors to the New Book Acquisitions exhibition.

The exhibition features:

- books and textbooks on mathematical models, classical field theory, accelerator physics, methods of digital data processing in geophysics, radiation physic, and polymer chemistry;

- electronic books with first-hand accounts of the LHC Experiment’s history and discussion of its future;

- ISINN-30 proceedings;

- An essay on the theory of human growth. Demographic revolution and information society by Sergei Kapitsa;

- reminiscences of the fifth Director of the Dzhelepov Laboratory of Nuclear Problems Vadim Bednyakov about the development of the Baikal-GVD Project at JINR from 2013 to 2023;

- reminiscences of a JINR researcher Alexander Popov, who took part in the projects of the JINR pulsed reactors;

- the Solar Neutrino encyclopaedia for schoolchildren by DLNP JINR Deputy Director Dmitry Naumov.
