The natural world in a scientific aspect

On 29 March, in the New Tretyakov Gallery on Krymsky Val in Moscow, at the site of the "Primordial Russia" festival, a scientific and educational conversation "Baikal - the crossroads of the Ecumenical roads" was held.

For more than ten years, the Non-Governmental Environmental Foundation named after V.I.Vernadsky has been holding environmental events for children and adults as part of the All-Russian Nature Festival "Primordial Russia". Scientists, teachers of educational institutions, representatives of public organizations, museum and library workers, students and graduate students of universities in Russia and the CIS countries participated in preparing and holding the Foundation Day named after V.I.Vernadsky.

This year, the organizers of the event invited JINR Director Academician Grigory Trubnikov and INR RAS Deputy Director Professor Grigory Rubtsov to talk about the Baikal Neutrino Telescope. At the festival site that day, photographs of Bair Shaybonov taken during winter expeditions were presented and his video greeting from the ice of Lake Baikal was shown. Deputy Director of DLNP JINR Dmitry Naumov delivered a popular science lecture "The Universe in the Baikal Neutrino Telescope".
